Tasting Notes
Full ruby red color. Intense on the nose, the first hints are โgreen sensationsโ, tomato leaves, but there are also notes of fresh red fruit, cherry, and in the background spicy hints, black pepper. On the palate the wine is straight and sharp, shifted to its โtough partsโ, it has powerful tannins combined with good freshness and minerality, defining a never predictable palate.

Harvest
Hand-picked grapes, in the second week of October.
Vineyard
Santa Sofia district. Alta Murgia 510 m. a.l.s., sandy calcareous soil.
Production
Fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine ages in steel tanks for 12-18 months. Thereafter the wine ages for another 6 months in the bottle.
